I visited Santa Rosa/Petaluma while on a trip from Delaware to attend a Calistoga wedding over the Memorial Day weekend. While walking alone on the Petaluma nature trail around the lake on that Saturday I encountered a big black, beautiful, panther-like wild cat about the size of a young Labrador retriever. Before I knew to be frightened, I snapped a picture from a distance.
I came home and did some research and concluded that it is a Kellas cat, native of Scotland, half-domestic/half wild, often kept as caged pets. Below is one (of many) links to the Kellas cat information which cites Sanoma Valley sightings,
Running into that animal was the highlight of my trip! When I startled him by moving on the some loose gravel that made a noise he leaped into the wooded, downhill area nearby.

I agree with BAKE NEKO.

I hate to sound like I’ve browsed through ABOVE TOP SECRET or the PROPHECIES web site one too many times—

but MAYBE this is part of pattern?
Maybe this is MEANT to happen?

I’m sorry, but increase in sightings like these, the wall-to-wall earthquake and long-dormant volcano explosions ALL OVER THE PLACE—plus the horrible continous weather we’ve been having lately in America really has me creeped out.
And to be SOMEWHAT serious, we ARE near 2012.
One never knows.
Anticipating those who MIGHT say I need to take my meds, I’m simply being a good KEELIAN here.

I’m through. Let me take my PROZAC now.

There sure has been a ton of melanistic alien big cat sightings as of late. I wonder why?
