It appears that only two registered within the imprint. Neither – and an elk, now, has four – registers where the elk would have to put them to stand up.

Big animals standing up leave the four heaviest prints – bearing their whole weight – right in the middle of the spot when they’re done getting up.

BTW, doesn’t one of the indicator lines from the photographed elk go from a point that – if the elk were lying like that – wouldn’t even be in the print?

If the scientists say x, and their reasoning is sound, I’m going with x unless it is shown to be wrong.

Daris Swindler – one of the more prominent recent names in anthropology and primatology – went from bigfoot skeptic to proponent on the basis of the Skookum cast alone.

I’m not overturning that for two elk prints in the wrong places…and another ‘print’ that shouldn’t even be there.

They are rather clear in the cast.

So all these elk markers are in the cast.

Um…where are the hooves…?

Answer? Nowhere they would have to be for that elk to stand up.

IT’S NOT AN ELK. Unless elk levitate.

Or unless several world-class scientists in their areas of expertise know nothing about primates.
