Ha, ha, with a screen name like “MountDesertIslander,” I would hope you’d check out one of the two whale watch appearances I’ll be making out of Mt. Desert Island. That is if I survive Friday night at what I hear has been described as the Bates Motel East!

Come to think of it, I won’t know you. Will you be the person wearing a checkered shirt and the unbuttoned coat? Got to wear your Bluff Creek-strength camp shirt.
