LOL, jeez those are some strong feelings about a movie. Just out of curiousity, did you see the movie or is that just your initial thoughts on the film?

The creature on the cover does look a bit suspicious though with the long, boar-like tusks coming out of his mouth and the 10-inch long Freddy Kruger looking fingernails

But I’ll still give it a shot though since southernfriedbigfoot gives it a thumbs up. I could use some good entertainment after the month I’ve had here at the office, and a “drive-in” inspired creature feature sounds like just the ticket.

I for one would have no problem giving this movie a try.

There’s nothing wrong with a little “Southern-style Drive-In Movie Theater Feel” in a movie once in a while.

It’s like Sweets—-good once in awhile, as long as one does not go “overboard” with them. Everything in moderation. Good post.

When I saw “based on true events” I practically fell out of my chair. Well, you know how these Hollywood movies can be when basing stories on “true events.” Something tells me it is going to be very, very loosely based on what is supposed to have really happened. The town name could be the same and that would qualify as “based on true events.” Not saying that is an indication of quality. For all we know, this movie could blow our minds.

By the way, love the tusks and the, let’s see.. six tentacle-like fingers the creature is sporting.

I was able to catch a special screening of “Wildman” last year and I enjoyed it immensely. It’s an homage to 70s Drive-In films in general and to movies like “The Legend of Boggy Creek” and “Creature from Black Lake” in particular. It’s very atmospheric and impressive, and it really does capture that drive-in movie feel. If you like the afformentioned movies that inspired it, you’ll love this one.
