Very interesting Demon. And the fact that the area has long had strange happenings is a plus as far as I’m concerned.

I did that Google search on Mr. Bartlett and, while I didn’t come up with a lot on the Dover Demon, the gentleman paints some very nice pictures.

The 2007 edition is vastly different than the 1983 edition, with 50% of the contents changed/updated, and new chapters added. The chapter on the Dover Demon, for example, has been extended by 25% new material that was not in the 1983 edition and not even available back then.

The 2007 Simon and Schuster edition is a fine-tuning of the 2001 Paraview version, but still different.

Does the new edition of Mysterious America have new information in it? I’ve been wondering if I should buy the new edition or not. If there is new information than I’ll buy it, but if not I’ve got an older copy.

I don’t know: For me it seems to have some similarities with the famous Varginha case of Minas Gerais, Brazil, that happened in the 90s.

So I gather there have been no sighting of the Demon since the 70’s? Is this true, no sightings since then? I find that interesting itself if true. I wonder why? To this day people see Bigfoot and things in the water. Or claim to anyway.
