btw, have you ever seen SASQUATCH HUNTERS? there’s a certain scientific character who sports a grey beard, is an expert on cryptozoology, and looks suspiciously like a beloved crypto we all know herein (but ya know, i won’t name names!).
i guess it’s an homage, but i wonder: is “Dr. Ethan Edwards” merely a passing resemblence or planned forethought after careful research by the filmmakers?
