Bigfoot Film Controversy Stirs New Interest

On Saturday, May 17, 2008, in Ohio, Don Keating hosted a Bigfoot meeting with approximately 450 people in attendance. M. K. Davis gave one of his few public lectures in recent years. Jeff Meldrum, recently returned from a new “Monster Quest” shoot in China, spoke. Other folks, like Eric Altman, talked of local sightings. The potential for something intriguing was there, and indeed, the promise of the possible was fulfilled. But it is Davis whom most people discussed all week.
On Friday, May 23, 2008, Cryptomundo recorded over 1.7 million hits, in large part because of visitors wishing to read the mounting number of blogs and comments about Davis’ theories. The targeted postings were about the speculations centered on images “proving” that shootings of humanoid Bigfoot were shown to large and small group gatherings.
I merely wrote or supported others writing about what was said by M. K. Davis, as news, and, I must say, I was blown away by the reaction. Despite naysayers who commented that no one wants to talk about the 40+ year old footage of an alleged Sasquatch at Bluff Creek, it appears this last week has proven otherwise.
My congratulations to Don Keating for organizing a Bigfoot event that few could have told from the outside would have people talking for so long and deeply about the details of the unknown hominoid-related presentations.

It’s because SO MANY people are still damn well interested in it. That’s why.
Congrats on the hits. That may be why the site’s been kind of slow recently.
Its nice to have all the recent big Bigfoot related articles in one posting.
I have only one thing to say about this whole shooting theory.
Don’t you think that if Patty was shot during the filming she would of went down, even if only shot in the leg, I think she would of went down at least for a few seconds. And even if she didn’t go down, do you think she would just calmly be walking off after being shot. Especially if she witnessed to the so called massacre. I think if she were trying to dig up the other bodies and was seen on the return of Patterson & Gimlin, or who ever was with em. And They see her then a shot rings out and she is hit in the leg, I highly doubt she is just going to calmly walk away as is shown in the footage. I think she would be running like she never ran before. Just my opinion. And if this really happened, honestly, if you were involved, could you keep your mouth shut after all this time? I don’t think I could. I don’t think I could live with myself keeping that kind of a secret. And I may be wrong, because I really personally do not know the man. But from what I’ve read about him, I don’t think Bob Gimlin could either.
Ok, that was more than one thing, I fibbed.
