New Penn Bigfoot Footage?

Posted by: Loren Coleman on November 9th, 2009

News is beginning to circulate of a recent piece of Bigfoot video from Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Is it a blobsquatch, the promise of something more, or merely a tool for more media attention from familiar quarters? A certain Las Vegas promoter has zoomed into the picture by going to the location and being interviewed by a local television station. But that aside, one still frame has been now been released, as shown below.

Reporter Kendra Nichols and producer Bryan Peach of WHTM note:

A Dauphin County man, who wishes to remain anonymous, says he may have caught images of Bigfoot with his flip-cam.

He says he was hiking the Appalachian Trail with his wife back in October when he came across what looked like a fort. He started filming, and says that’s when he started hearing strange noises.

“You can actually hear it go ‘huh-ah,’ like a monkey. I mean, deep in the lungs,” he said. “I panicked. The sounds were loud and they freaked me out, to be honest with you. I told my wife we need to get out of here. There’s something up in these woods.”

When he got home, he saw a strange image on the video.

“Here’s this thing standing in the middle of the trail,” says the man. “My wife said, ‘What is that?’ I said, ‘I don’t know.'”

The rest of the WHTM comments, including how this “real deal Bigfoot hunter” shows them “evidence” including “a mummified hand from Montana” and that he plans to prove “Bigfoot exists by capturing one,” can be found here.

Here we go again…something looks amiss. Not sure what. Either that isn’t Pennsylvania or that thing isn’t what I’d picture for Bigfoot.

  2. boxerpit responds:

omg not tom biscardi wow can we say bigfoot in pa i really hope this is not a real 1 and he captures it
can picture it now tom at confrence saying told you so
so if that is bigfoot run away bigfoot run to maine please let loren capture you please

  3. TheHighlandTiger responds:

first impression it looks like a tree stump.

It’ll be interesting to see if it moves in the video footage.

  4. on the track responds:

    tom biscardi bums me out.

  5. therizinosaurus responds:

When I saw the picture and read the back story, how did I know Biscardi’s name was going to be involved somehow? This guy has sure had some good luck hunting for bigfoot–the GA freezer carcass (oh wait, that was a hoax…), the toenail from Seligman, AZ (which has led to nothing), now this…as much as I believe in bigfoot and want this to be real, I just don’t see it happening as long as it’s him showing interest.
(Plus, the picture doesn’t even look believable to me)

  6. Adidas182ia responds:

Looks like Biggie’s wearing welding gloves…

  7. bigfootboy_2000 responds:

I can say that we have had a decent number of sighting reports in Pennsylvania this year, but nothing from the Dauphin County area that I’m aware of. I am a little bit leary of this photo, simply because it does not resemble any area in Dauphin county that I’m aware of. Doesnt mean it isnt, just that it doesnt look like any place ive seen before. I have members of the Pa Bigfoot Society who live in Dauphin county and will ask them for their opinion. When I read the article, I couldnt help but wonder what will surface from this next. I’d personally like to see the film/video first hand but since it is in Biscardi’s hands, it is doubtful I or anyone else will unless there is a fee involved to see it.

  8. Valen responds:

Biscardi? You’ve GOT to be kidding me! I just watched the video on the TV station’s web site. Does the media do such a crappy job checking sources on other stories the way they seem to do these? It took me 5 seconds to Google him and see “hoax” associated with is name. Again, if the “main stream media” sources others stories as well as this one, no wonder all we see on the news is garbage!
Even if the people and video are legit, the King of Crap is now associated with this. He’ll pollute the entire thing.

  9. Erik Knatterud responds:

Incredibly short upper arm (human?), and an under arm twice as long. Got to be a a human wearing some kind of glove extending the total arm length. Another Biscardi fake. Cute though.

  10. Dj Plasmic Nebula responds:

Wow i hope this one is real. Looks legit too. I’m Glad Tom Biscardi is not involved in this one.

  11. bigfootboy_2000 responds:

One thing I also wanted to mention, is that has anyone else noticed how green the foilage is in the photo for October in PA? Depending on when in October this was taken, the leaves were coming down and the photo should have been a lot more colorful than just green. Makes one wonder….

  12. cryptidsrus responds:

    Looks “funny,” alright.

  13. Redrose999 responds:

    OMG it’s an Ent! 😛

  14. Hoytshooter responds:

That is a rather strange looking “middle of the trail”. Looks more to me like a broken off tree stump in the middle of the woods. Could it be some one got a picture of Biscardi with his feet stuck in something, other than his mouth?

  15. Dj Plasmic Nebula responds:

Ah now I found the link. XD, I’m sad to know that Biscardi want’s to be part of this search. Thank goodness the video wasn’t filmed by Biscardi. Chances are this is real and chances are the guy that filmed this is working for Biscardi or Biscardi working for him. I don’t know how many hoaxes he has done. During the video, he seemed secure about his words, I wonder if he can keep his words true because I don’t want this to be another hoax.

Now, I can’t imagine how someone keeps hoaxing and trying to get our attention to believe them. If he’s hoaxing (possibly with the others), they think they can get us to believe them, and when they do, they think they can always fool us.

Well the good news is were not them, so it’s their butts that’s getting the boot, not ours. So all we can do is wait and find out while the hoaxers get the boot. Although, I always believe that somehow they can find the real Bigfoot, and when they do, people are not going to believe. They’d be the boy who cried wolf.

All Biscardi is doing is risking it. I wonder what will us people would say if this turns out true…. Who’s to say that’s Bigfoot. The image in the video looks different than other Bigfoot description. This can be another kind of animal or a different variety of Bigfoot kind. Well from I remember reading.

Now I’m a strong believer in the Yeti and Sasquatch. I hope this Bigfoot is true to it’s roots.

  16. shownuff responds:

I’m not going to call it a Bigfoot. But I am really starting to think that there is more species of upright walking animals in the woods. Talking bad about someone is not cool. It is what it is. Looks cool. Hope someone can enhance it, I would like to see what the details bring out.

  17. AllanJohnson responds:

When the man who shall not be named shows up with his trailer and six guys to do a one night expedition it isn’t to find anything, its to promote all the garbage he had pasted on the side of it and to get his website name out again. Even the newscaster knows he is a complete crock.

Now onto the ‘footage.’ The still is a stump, I like the idea of a guy wearing welders gloves though, keen observation.

  18. AllanJohnson responds:

Sorry about double posting but no one else mentioned this. Where is the fort? Isn’t that what he was taking a video of? I see a couple logs.

  19. jtmkryptos responds:

seems to squarish in the head and neck area…..

  20. ScottA responds:

It has the shape of one of those Halloween costumes, maybe they thawed out theirs and are recycling it. LOL!

  21. fossilhunter responds:

    Greetings All!
Is the alleged BF in the center of the picture, or to the right of the right-hand up-and-down “vine”, exactly halfway up? I see just a face there, peering at the camera. I see a mossy limb in the middle of the whole thing! That or BF has about a 3 foot tall D.A. haircut, continuing above the left-to-right “vine”!! As humans we are hard-wired to see faces. In cut trees, clouds, potato chips, oil stains, Mars, all over the place! So my guess is that A) its not BF in the center, and B) not BF on the right either!
Now on to- “Who is Bigfoot building a fort as protection from?”! Mangy bears? 🙂 Could it beeeee…. BISCARDI?!?? (With a nod towards the Church Lady!)

  22. kc0 responds:

I grew up in Dauphin County and although it does have some rural and forested areas, there are still a number of people around. The Appalachian Trail does run through some game lands, but the trail itself is pretty well traveled, as are the other trails that go through the area. It’s also an area that sees a lot of hunters. If there was something there I think there would have been more sightings of it.

Also, that picture is very green for PA. In early October it’s possible for the leaves to still be green, but it looks like a lot of the ground cover is too, and that would be very strange.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
