		<description>My runner-up would be Debbie Martyr, for the rediscovery of the Sumatran muntjac and continued work on the orang-pendek (one of the crypo-puzzles most likely to be solved, I think.)  But I'm certainly not quibbling with the discoverer of a new manta ray, especially when she demonstrated something important to all science: looking where others have not looked, and seeing what others have not seen.</description>
