Great job Emily! I’m a grad student (Instructional Design and Technology) at Tech and I’m a huge fan of Loren Coleman. I’ve been interested in Cryptozoology and the like all my life. Right now i’m finishing my thesis project at home in Newport News, VA but I’d love to come to Tech for a Club meeting some day.

I wish there was a good, legit clearing house for information on crypto seminars/lectures/meetings/conferences throughout the country. It seems that by the time I find out about them, it is either too late, or too far to travel to.

My high school features a Paranormal Club (which I founded and run), and while I fully realize that Cryptozoology is not by any means truly paranormal Cryptozoology is a frequent topic of discussion by means of discussing various cryptids and goings on in the Cryptozoological community. We frequently discuss topics related to Cryptozoology, Ufology, Hauntings, other elements of Parapsychology, and other Fortean subjects.

I would love if my school had a cryptozoologocal society. Unfortunately I graduate in little over a month otherwise I would have looked into starting such a group while I was there.
