I thought you might be interested in recent reports of an alligator in eastern Arizona. The AZ Daily Star (Tucson, AZ) reported E. Ariz. river may have its own Nessie — with plenty of serious teeth.

From the outside
It all seems rather sad though I am sure there are reasons
This unequal contest
To delight in death not life
To raise oneself up on anothers corpse
Millions of years, honed to perfection, then on a whim a piece of meat and skin
Rather misses the point of the triumph of the alligator.
Here before man winked a wink or nudged a nudge
Probably will still be here after he has gone, or she.

I know some here may go on about “How dare she do that to that magnificent creature and all that” but I personally don’t care about that right now. Man, she can HUNT me anytime…
