Yes, she was a true pioneer, a discoveror of New lands, and like Dion Fortune, Moina Mathers, Mary Hyre and Coral Lorenzen will be deeply missed. When I met Mrs. Clarke a few years ago, despite her age and health conditions, I found her to be sharp as a tack and quite feisty when discussing those who scoffed at her sightings of the Lake Worth Monster. She was adamant that what she saw wasn't a hoaxer in a costume but a real animal. She will be greatly missed, and best thoughts, wishes, and prayers go out to her family. This is a tragic loss.
