It’s really sad that programs like the one mentioned above decide to take the stance of ridicule and mockery on this subject. This is the battle we must fight everywhere as it appears that such attitudes are institutionalized in the media and it’s important we dont help such shows perpetuate the “Veil of Ridicule” which ultimately stems from ignorance, arrogance, and what I call the “Monkey In The Mirror” syndrome.
Basically meaning that if we admit the existence of such a creature, suddenly we as humans are not as special and as superior as we believed ourselves to be.

As a former member of the news media, I have witnessed firsthand unscrupulous producers who will say anything to convince people to go on camera only to betray them in post and on the air. It makes it harder for those of us working on serious documentaries to convince reticent individuals to commit their experiences to AV media.

Well, In my opinion only, if anyone can stand up to these types of people — its definately Loren Coleman. Your addition to their contract – Im still laughing about that, Im sure they wouldnt ever add something like that.. lmao – good work.

Question though, eventually wont someone have to stand up to these people to force more serious conversation in the media about this field?

Just curious.
