Oh NO! Please say it ain’t so!
Besides the Patterson film, the original ‘Boggy Creek’ was the film that started many of us ’70′s kids into the world of cryptozoology. It wasn’t that it didn’t scare the crap out of us, but more because of the fact that it was based on a true story.
But now that Hollywood has gotten it’s sensationalism claws onto it, the kids that view it are going see it as a ‘slasher’ movie, with no merit behind the true story. That, or they are going to come away from this movie believing that bigfoot is a demonic psycopathic creature, bent on murder and mayhem. Not the curious, elusive and intellegant creature that we know them to be.
