UT does in fact operate a “body farm” and has helped solve many cases where people have been murdered and their bodies discarded in all types of places. Through this type of forensic study, it has helped catch many criminals and bring some type of closure to many families. It’s a worthy effort to contribute their expertise to forensics.

Thats a very selfless and noble act to have carried out as a last wish. Even in death he will still continue to educate and enlighten people to lifes mysteries.

this is a sad but interesting topic. I too would like to donate my body to science. It would be cool to be a piece of artwork like bodyworks also. the best death for me would be getting eatin by a bigfoot or lake monster caught on tape. I wish you and your family the best….
