It is wonderful to have people interested in Bigfoot pursuits acknowledged for their life’s work, and I congratulate Autumn Williams for being recognized as one of the ten people who have made a difference in dealing with the outdoors in Oregon. Cryptozoology needs more people like Autumn Williams. Our Cryptomundo Person of the Day goes to Ms. Williams!

OUTDOOR CRED: Autumn Williams spends countless hours slogging through the wilds of the Northwest searching for a beast whose legend has spooked Oregon campers for generations. "Having seen these creatures, I don’t question if they are, I simply would like to understand what they are," Williams wrote in an impassioned email. In 1999, she created Oregonbigfoot.com to catalog bigfoot sightings worldwide. "Whil fishing we herd sumthing faloing us arond the lake," rites—er, writes—one astonished fishing guide.

I have always enjoyed reading Autumn’s website. She has also been a great influence on my life in a CZ way. I wish her suspenseful education television show would come back on tho. It was one of the best!

Wow, Loren, what an honor! I grinned when I read Adrian’s blurb - I guess allowing witnesses to tell their stories in their own words (with their own grammar) has a tendency to backfire occasionally. (hee)
Life has been non-stop crazy lately… in addition to the website updates, monthly newsletter and trying to get this *#$^@(# documentary finished, I found out recently I’m pregnant with my first child. Finding the time to enjoy the ride is my greatest challenge at the moment.
At any rate, I just wanted to post a thanks. I’m sorry I don’t have more time to spend here, though I do check in often. You guys are doing a great job. Craig’s been bugging me for a while to join you folks here on Cryptomundo on a regular basis and hopefully my schedule will clear up enough soon so I can do so!

Congratulations Autumn about your bouncing baby news. Adding another Bigfoot hunter to the planet is always great to hear about.
Well, what that also means is you might have some time on your hands for a few coming weeks, but your time is rapidly going to be taken up with other much more important matters than cryptozoology soon, I know.
Look forward to whatever contributions you wish to send along to Cryptomundo. They will all be appreciated, as all are from so many people nowadays visiting here.

Autumn, I want to congratulate you on this honor, and also on your upcoming bundle of joy. Kids are great, and add a lot of joy to your life. I hope your child will bring you a lot of joy. I still watch my DVD of “Mysterious Encounters” and enjoy each episode despite some of the phoniness of it. (Not implying that you yourself are phony, just some of the situations that occurred) Looking forward to your documentary.

HaHaHa… funny greywolf, but, you know, the first thing my dad asked me when I told him about some of the speakers at the “Bigfoot in Texas?” exhibit was “Is that pretty blonde girl going to be there? I love listening to her! She knows her $#!t”
Sadly, being one of those non-TV folks, I’ve never seen one of Autumn’s shows (although as noted Dad is a big fan), but now I’m going to have to do some digging.
You crypto folks are gonna drag me back to TV watching kicking and screaming all the way, aren’t you?
