    UFTs?

Thank you for posting this Loren!

There will no doubt be discussion about Bigfoot sightings involving UFOs, such as the famous Uniontown, Pennsylvania sighting of October 25th, 1973. Due to the aberrant behavior of one of the witnesses immediately after the incident, including attacking his dog like a beast, some have went so far as to add demonic possession to the incident. (The UFO Conspiracy: Space travelers of Demonic Deceivers).

I feel that such associations between these fields cold hurt Cryptozoology in the long run, but it can also be an interesting concept for further research.

Ohhh, Sunday’s speakers might just tempt me to make the several hours long journey to the other side of the state. I wish they had something closer to Philly (but I could do without the UFOs, just not my cup of tea)

Of course there will!! It’s built into the Conference’s Name!

“Purists” in both arenas (and many others) used to get hinky and even angry when the subject was introduced into even casual conversation, but that attitude has slowly mellowed over the years, and the possible paranormal aspects of Research into the unknown has become somewhat acceptable… to some.

“…such as the famous Uniontown, Pennsylvania sighting of October 25th, 1973.”

There was a similar event near Railroad, PA in the late 70s, too; sightings of two beasts together, leaving huge snowy footprints, soon followed by a disc-shaped craft touching down and setting a nearby blacktop roadway on fire!

Events like these are part of Mystery Lore, and MUST be examined with even greater care and consideration than “simple” sightings, not ignored or discarded due to personal bias.

Isn’t that why we Cryptomundians are here… to learn?
