My money is something turning up in the aftermath of the Oz deluge. With the flooding down in Australia I doubt there will be a better opportunity to find a Thylacine, alive or dead.

I think this year will continue to have additional states acknowlege that mountain lions are “resident animals” and perhaps cut down on “black panther” sightings. None of this is to suggest “black panthers” aren’t real, just a hope that legit sightings are clarified.

I hope new reports of the “Malawi terror beast”will appear this year. I am not convinced at all it was a hyena with rabies nor a leopard, because the locals said it had a dog-like head, very long claws, a lot of spots and it didn’t have the hyena’s sloping back.
I would also like to see a neat photo of a living Kouprey, probably the most epic cattle of the world.
