I have heard several reports of people shooting at these creatures to no avail. So a confirmed hit is quite rare.

It gets more interesting with the bit about the creature tapping the wound. This part bugs me, how long did the creature take securing it’s wound? If I had just shot a crazed wild man and had a few seconds to reload I would for sure!

So in my opinion this is either a very rare Bigfoot sighting or a just another hoax.
