The individual with the book is the ICM’s volunteer coordinator Jeff Meuse. I had just given him a copy of Heuvelmans’ French book on African hominoids and an additional “thank you” award for all his hard work with the move. To the left, in the photo, is my son, Caleb, who also got an appreciation trophy for his display case moving assistance and Grand Opening shortbread (as his nod to our 1999 Loch Ness expedition, of course).
