Mr. Radford,

MK Davis gave a presentation at the 2003 Texas Bigfoot Conference where he presented evidence that three-toed tracks attributed to the Honey Island Swamp Monster were created by fake feet attached to shoes. Discussion of this can be found here and an article pertaining to the presentation is available here.

I suppose the explanation that some will propose is that the faked prints do not preclude the possibility that people have observed sasquatch-like creatures in the area.

Uhhh… am I the only one who heard that the fake “feet” that made the Honey Island Swamp tracks were found a few years ago? And that it’s about as close to a smoking gun as you get in cryptozoology that the whole thing was a hoax?
 Ummm, Probably.

Finally, something on a cryptid from my neck of the woods. I grew up with tales panthers and Honey Island Swamp Monsters, so this one I'll most likely get.

Interesting, but the "scream" doesn't work for me. Blind purchase: doubtful. Netflix: definitely. :)

Seems like a very interesting documentary. I shall be buying this for sure. Although I have to say that the scream we hear at the end of the trailer sounds remarkably like an elephant....

Still, eyewitness accounts galore and some decent footage to review. It's a must in my book!

What struck me from the description and drawings of this creature and its footprints is that it seems to be similar to the Squatch, yet different. What came to mind were the iguanas of the Galapagos, the marine and land variety. Quite similar obviously, but suited to different environments.

It reminds me of The Legend of Boggy creek.

I agree with Bill Green and will get a copy as soon as it comes out.
