Toyota and Cryptozoology

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on September 30th, 2006

Last November, I posted a commercial that Toyota had made for their Chinese markets.

While that commercial featured a tentacled creature as the Loch Ness Monster, certainly not a very viable candidate for whatever may reside in the loch, they have a new commercial airing in the US currently. It features a long-necked creature, perhaps a plesiosaur.

The new commercial, featuring Adrian Shine of the Loch Ness Project. The commercial is in the same vein as the Kokanee Beer commercial that featured René Dahinden.

Both commercials are available on YouTube.com. Enjoy!

Must be why I drive a Toyota.

  2. Sky King responds:

Hmmm…. now WHAT is it about that that’s why you drive a Toyota? In hopes of being snatched by a pleiosaur?

  3. CryptoGoji responds:

Nessie is a truck person? I wonder if it would have tasted better if it have Bar-B-Que sauce on it.

    I prefer a Jeep myself! :-)
However I think Toyota has the best car commercials, at least as of late. However I like the new Jeep commercial with the new Wrangler Unlimited being picked up by giant apes. It has two surfboards on the top making it look like a winged insect to ape from above.

Anyhow, I thought of cryptomundo when I saw the Toyota commercial, it’s pretty good.

Ole bub loves his Toyota Tundra…best truck I ever owned…and I have owned them all…Lake monster and Nessie proof…not sure about sasquatch proof though…LOL

    seeing is believing…
