Hmmm, could ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ or ‘Chronicles of Narnia’, be Todd’s original inspiration for the term ‘Sylvanic’?

I’ve never seen any evidence of a true geographic location of Sylvanic in North America.

I agree with swnoel. Todd seems to going about this backwards. He should release his “definitive proof” first, then protection would surely follow.

I would still like to know if Mr. Standing had hired some actors in 2005 as alluded to in a prior thread?

Politicians need to be reelected, therefore it is relatively easy to “get to” them in order to maintain the status quo of the great unspoken Bigfoot denial conspiracy. Political action groups can also “get to” a politician, when their self-interests conflict with societies need to know.

Thanks for giving me a needed chuckle this afternoon. The Honourable Member (though given his party affiliation, I prefer to use a synonym for “member”), Mr. Lake’s reaction is understandable, when one considers that his party, which is the ruling party in a minority government, has been dropping in its popularity as the Canadian public finally opens its eyes to exactly whom they voted into office. With embarrassment upon embarrassment, broken promise upon broken promise (even 4th graders could have seen that coming), all Conservative MPs have serious damage control to perform at every level. It wouldn’t do to have the Opposition take potshots at him for having brought such a petition to the House of Commons (though the fact that the majority of signatures came from individuals outside his constituency strikes me as the most embarrassing aspect for him, rather than the premise of the petition itself).

Either that, or he actually met and conversed with Mr. Standing for a few minutes — which was enough to give him reason to back the heck away.

Just my two cents.
