Yes, I know there are probably a dozen or so movies out there but Rob Zombie gets that instant mass appeal that Lance Henriksen doesn't get.

Great... Now Bigfoot is a malevolent, calculating creature in the minds of the mass media addicted youth. The odds grow slimmer next time, he'll survive an encounter. Media does shape and form attitudes no matter what the pundits say, so out there if there is a Bigfoot , he'll will have to deal with a conception of him not as shy mysterious creature that just wants to be left alone, to now a monstrous, vengeful creature waiting to pounce with Jason or Mike onto sleeping campers and lovers lane types. What's next, skunk apes tearing up the local marina, Ivory billed woodpeckers pecking out the eyes of Ozark frog giggers, Mothman carrying off coeds in their tank tops?

the ending for the comic serial left room for a sequel. It was a fun read.

The big guy definitely had anger issues.

I have to agree with Craig, this certainly is Bigfoot from his most violent side, but hey ...with Steve Niles and Rod Zombie as authors no surprise there, and I actually enjoyed the story, as unrealistic as it might be. What dissapointed me though, was the artwork by Richard Corben. Corben was a major influence when I was a kid learning to draw (I still compare my drawings to his), and I was actually not to fond of his take on bigfoot. Even still, Rob Zombie, Richard Corben and Bigfoot all at once ...I was as excited as a small child the first time I heard about this one!!
