Sasquatch Statue

Cryptomundo reader ladd mentioned that this bronze Sasquatch statue, featured on the Coast to Coast AM website, resembled the subject of the hoaxed Virginia Bigfoot Video. This huge, bronze Sasquatch statue is located on Highway 3, Okanogan, British Columbia.
As John Kirk has written here on Cryptomundo, Okanogan is home to the legendary Ogopogo, as well as Sasquatch.
As Cryptomundo reader Morgoth pointed out, it appears that the Virginia Bigfoot Video was hoaxed using this Sasquatch costume from TheHorrorDome.com.
Personally, I don’t see the resemblance.

The bigfoot of Virginia is AT BEST a half-assed attempt. At least they have a costume, give props to that.

Matt, the dude next to the statue above, sez he doesn’t know why it was erected there, no plaque or sign I guess…
That statue looks cool, I wish there were more of those around. I’d love to see it. Good photo opt.
I agree, what great art work in sculpting the bronze statue. I wonder how long something like that would take?
