Craig setting all other issues aside why when the video's running at normal speed does the camera operator veer off to the left but during the slowed down version veer off to the right?

There's of course many many other things completely awry starting with the differences in distances from the filmer to the sad squatch in the much further away normal speed version and the much shorter ditance between the two in the slow downed version.

There's the differences in the points where the sad squatch enters the road then disappears back into the trees.

There's the differences in stride patterns and points where the different part of sad squatch's feet hit different parts of the road.

There's huge the differences in arm positions and arm use.

There's the differences in the type of long and thin stick in the slowed down version as opposed to very short thick and stubby stick if not indeed complete absence of stick in the normal speed version.

But apart from those and all the other anomalies then yes I'm fully convinced.

I'd like to give this guy the benefit of the doubt and say somebody is playing a joke on him. I think we all agree this is not Bigfoot, but maybe he was hoaxed, too.

However, I can't do that. If you play close attention, it seems like he lets off the gas ever-so-slightly about three to four seconds prior to seeing the Bigfoot - as if anticipating the encounter. He also lets off the gas entirely a fraction of a second before the Bigfoot is visible on camera, but that could be attributed to his line of sight being higher than the camera's and actually seeing it before the camera.

In addition, he doesn't even utter a word or make a sound when he sees it - he just drives off the trail. We know we can hear his voice (or should be able to hear it) because we hear chatter early in the video and hear the brush hitting the ATV when he goes into it. I'm thinking a gasp or a "holy cow" would be warranted if a giant figure runs across a trail in front of you - unless you already know it's going to happen.

the stride is VERY human ,when the leg moves forward it should not fully extend straight out the way this one does and there should be more backswing with the leg in the rear , it's nowhere close to Patty's gait

Almost every bigfoot book that I've ever read, and I've been reading them since the early seventies asks a question akin to "Can all of these people be hoaxers, victims of hoaxers, or simply mistaken?" This question is inherently misleading. They seem to be asking can x out of x of these people fall into one of categories (with x being the number of people who make bigfoot reports), when the correct question would be can x out about a half billion people (a somewhat low approximation of the population of North America since these books were written). Given the pool of witnesses, and taking into consideration of multiple report among them (even though I don't live in bear country, I've seen dozens of bears, never mistaking one for a primate.). Coincidentally I do live about six miles from the Sears that a bear wandered into last month. Can a hundred, or a thousand or even ten thousand reports fall into the hoaxer, victim of a hoax or simply mistaken category? I'd say unquestionably. I've seen too many of the obvious charlatans, who will remain nameless in this post due to their proclivity for filing frivolous lawsuits to give the other witnesses the benefit of a doubt, and even honest people can make a mistake. I once saw a black bear crashing through the brush that was lumbering on two feet. If it had been a bit darker, or had I been a bit further away, or even if I hadn't been in a relatively safe place like a fishing boat, I might have mistaken that bear for a bigfoot.
