I dunno, if I were going to just straight up hoax, I wouldn’t do this, nor would I admit it was fuzzy. I’d do a top-notch hoax and release the video the day after my announcment (as noted above).

Just the fact that they admit it is fuzzy and unclear makes me interested to be honest. Not because I even necessarily believe in a lake monster, but because I’m interested in what might be interpreted as a lake monster.

Ultimately though, this one has a different “feel” to it from the JH debacle. So its down to my (notoriously 50/50 in its accuracy) gut feeling.

Anything is possible. Until I see a CLEAR video showing an unknown creature swimming around in lake van, I will believe it wasn’t the video shown before. It was supposed to be a fake?

If a purported video of a “lake monster” isn’t shown on CNN or the national news on the same or next day it was captured on tape, then it’s going to be a blob open to individual interpretation.

Most likely the sponsers of this expedition will make a long-winded documentary around this tape to make a profit.

So if you don’t see it aired today or tomorrow, wait a few months.
