One of the biggest problems I have with the bigfoot community is that everyone plays the “I got a secret” game. Share the info! Science only advances when information is free.

“The call blasts we use have a signature “added” sound that ensures that other humans hearing it will know it’s a recording vs. live.”

Wouldn’t the animals be able to detect the false note in the calls as well?

Shortly after the Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot show began, I received many reports through my website from people stating they are hearing tree knocking sounds and strange vocalizations from their surrounding woods. Interestingly enough, two reports came from the same neighborhood. After investigating the reports, each neighbor had watched the Finding Bigfoot show and each independently tried tree knocking and crude call blasting techniques. So each neighbor was hearing the sounds the other neighbor was making, this is going to be happening all over the States as long as Animal Planet’s show Finding Bigfoot airs. When these reports come in I politely tell them to send the report to the BFRO and that the BFRO would get in touch with them. Now every vocalization heard and or recorded must be suspect because Animal Planet and the BFRO are deceiving the public that the sounds edited into the show are from actual Bigfoot creatures. I want to see the video of the creatures making those calls! Hopefully they will post a disclaimer to that effect in the future. From now on, I won’t be spending any of my valuable time following up on strange animal calls because most calls are most likely being made by people who watch the Animal Planet show.

Hello Kathy, it’s good of you to take the time to respond to our comments. What do you define as “results”? Actual sightings, having something call back, ect. Just wondering. Thanks.

Kathy is a very nice person, I used to live very close to her in Twain Harte and had I known about her and her husband then, I would have most definitely tried to go squatching with them. I myself have heard strange screams at night from my front yard coming from across the mountain when I lived there. My cousin who doesn’t believe, said it was only a mountain lion. I’m a city boy all my life, so I would have to defer to him, but man it was strange.
