why go through most of the motions and not all?
he says himself "My conclusion on the film is that it probably does not show a bigfoot, though I could be wrong. I suspect that it shows the eye reflection of an owl sitting back on a branch that has broken off sometime in the three years between the filming and my on-site investigation. If I had more information about the distance between the eyes of owls, I would be a bit more sure in my assessment, but at this point, the sasquatch hypothesis seems less likely than other explanations."
so why not look into it? maybe start with a great horned owl since its most likely the biggest..
just from the 5 minutes research i put into it..it looks like these eyes on the kentucky film are wider than an owl...the owl eyes look like they are even more narrow than an avg human eyes are apart..
perhaps its hard to tell the size of the eyes from the film but they look to be pretty big. as you would expect with bf.. like 2 to 4 times bigger than human would be a ball park. there are no owl eyes that big.. i guarantee you..
also, why not replicate the camera...see if dark colors get washed out....

luv cliff but that just seems like a no brainer... atleast put a little research into owl eyes...

Having seen pretty much the same thing myself but only with a 170 lumen flashlight I can tell you the eyes are huge..and the one i saw had eyes spaced out about what you would expect for something with a 2 foot wide head..there is no mistaking them when you see them.... something tells me this film doesnt do any justice to what it looked like in person..

Buckeyes 1:

All elusive animals frequently display behavior one might not expect of something that doesn't want anyone to see it. They're animals, after all; animals have lots of common traits, and with mammals one is some level of curiosity.

Reports of sasquatch behaving in not-so-stealth mode - staring down; intimidating; walking away leisurely like Patty, or even more so - are legion. They are as compelling as any of the other reports, maybe more so as there can be little question in such an encounter what the witness saw if the witness wasn't hospitalizable or flat lying.

Don't know what this eyeshine encounter depicts. But these things getting seen by as many as apparently see them, well, they screw up just like other critters, and some of them don't just take off.

OK, I'm asking this of those who have watched the show (even though I can glean much evidence just from what I have read here).

Does "Moonshine and Bigfoot" adequately describe what's behind all the episodes?

Am I the only one who finds it strange the "eyes" in that very short video never seem to move? They twinkle alright, but they never look sway, they never look away or seem to move an inch at any time, as if they are stationary. Nor do they appear to blink either.

I would think a creature trying hard to hide, especially from man, would look away or run a second after they realized they were noticed. I understand the video was taken in “Nightshot” mode, so you could argue the creature, whatever it was, didn't realize it was being filmed. Still, any creature it would seem to me that was trying to be elusive would not have stood in one spot, unblinking and unmoving, as if it were rooted to the spot.
