I’m hoping Season 2 will be better, but who am I kidding? This show is going to set serious cryptozoology back for years to come. I’m tired of my friends using this show to poke fun at my beliefs. And what’s even crazier is that I’m now beginning to doubt myself. Thanks to this train wreck of a television show, I don’t want to believe in any cryptid right now. It’s causing me to close my mind and shut things out. I’m sure it’s only temporary, and I’ll snap out of it; it’s terribly sad. How can a t.v. show be the cause of so much embarrassment?

im not a fan of their calls , the come to towns let everyone know they are there , go where folks tell them to go and seem surprised when their stupid calls are answered . BTW , none of their calls sound like what i’ve herd online

i really believe the last show where the mayor asked them to come was an elaborate attempt on the towns part to get some tourist money coming in .

however ……. them talking about hearing mumbled chatter/talk/voices really struck a nerve for me . i had a experience as a teen walking home one night on a dark country road that i was very familiar with about 3 am one night . i could clearly hear 2 different voices about 50 – 75 feet into the woodline from the road . i walked about 100 feet back then forward to kinda zero in on the area . then i said in a normal tone of voice “who’s back there , are you ok ?” it stopped and i herd nothing for the few moments i stood there . i don’t recall any smell , but it seemed pretty weird and i figured i should just get on home . no fear or sense of danger , just kinda felt the show was over .

anyhow , the show is not doing legitimate searching for these critters any favors .

They are defaming the whole project (producers) by bs’ing the populace. If Matt has any integrity he will stand up and make it right, unless his ego, and wallet, is more important then integrity of the research.

He is not an innocent victim. Those words come out of his mouth.

Just grow a set, and stand up for accuracy man.

Just kidding. I didn’t watch it.

But it sounds exactly like what you would expect. Probing questions = soft, rigorously screened questions. Same untrustworthy editing.

Now that season 1 is official dead and buried like all sasquatch remains, I stand now to openly predict season 2.

It will be the exact same show. If anything will change, it will be the camera-packs the cast wears. Matt cited somewhere that if they were going to do season 2 then the night vision cameras that show us his face in glorious detail would need to be removed. If he’s a man of his word, they’ll be gone if he’s still on the show. If they’re there and he’s there…. then he’s obviously not a man of his word. I also think they’ll change around the cast… add and maybe drop some researchers. But the format will by and large stay the same. They will not dedicate more time to ‘searching’ or interviewing people. They have a formula that worked for 6 episodes so it can work for 6 more.

Anyway, here’s a funny jingle my roommate came up with about the show. He firmly believes season 2 should just full on become a sitcom.

Here’s the opening theme, sung in the style of a 50′s sitcom and a send up of the theme from Principle Skinner & Superintendent Chalmers from the Simpsons episode that features the 22 short films/stories.

“Bobo with his crazy explanations
Poor Ranae’s gonna need her medication.
When they hear Matt’s lame exaggerations

This forum is a lot like the forums on NASCAR. Almost everyone on those forums complain about the way the racers are shown, how the races should be run, and how the last changes to the race format is gonna ruin the sport. The truth is that this show won’t be ‘finding bigfoot’, but it will be increasing the watercooler talk, and that’s good for our community.
