Now that might get somewhere. I mean, many accounts have the dog coming to grips with the animal. (They don’t all cower…at first, anyway.) Logic dictates that there might be some footage in this.

Better be a remote cam for sure. You have to see what it records. And if a bigfoot gets its hands on that dog, you might not unless you’ve been watching the whole time.

Although I have read that dogs refrain and cower in following a bigfoot, I always thought this to be a great idea. It would be even better to put a remote video camera mounted on a harness on the dog to record anything the dog may encounter.

Encounter literature makes one thing very clear: dogs simply react – very vigorously – to sasquatch. While I’m sure they’ll try to condition them to track on something – and yeah they’ll have to find something – they really won’t have any trouble with one of these things getting the dogs’ attention. Oh, it will.

The problem – as that report I linked, and many like it, show well – is what happens after that.

I guess adding a dog-handling company to those who vouch for the sasquatch won’t be a total loss. But they gotta know that coming away with anything other than the hair-raising experience is something the encounter lit says will be, well, good luck with that.

Now wouldn’t that up the ratings if we could see real footage of a sasquatch thrashing dogs left and right?

What exactly are they going to use to get the dog on the track to begin with? You need to have something with a scent on it to let the dog smell so it knows what it’s looking for.

Excellent Idea. There needs to be more dogs used in Sasquatch research, especially bloodhounds and Brazilian Mastiffs, and if they are used enough times, then perhaps we can finally ditch the curse of the blobsquatch, or at the most bag a physical type specimen.

Getting on the trail of this thing won’t be enough.

You gotta get it close enough, and keep it close enough, to get proof.

Evidence suggests some dogs are gonna be lost to that effort.
