Bigfoot is not paranormal, it’s an animal like any other animal. BTW: Orbs are dust particles that reflect the camera’s flash. I should know, I’m a photographer.

  2. Ragnar responds:

What a misleading headline. The Navaho police are federal but they aren’t exactly big time. And yes, they investigate reports on the reservation. Why wouldn’t they? Your local cops would too if they had the time for it.

    What a contradictory comment.

I’ve seen this. It’s a step in the right direction. Those dudes need to team up with Missing 411.

There are all kinds of conspiracies about government agencies having all kinds of info on all kinds of things…

  5. springheeledjack responds:

Volmar–I agree with you. I don’t buy into the paranormal aspects of Bigfoot. I think we’re dealing with a flesh and blood critter that’s just better at evading us than we are at finding it. I think it may also have flesh and blood attributes that allow it to avoid us, or flat out become aware of us long before we spot them.

Unfortunately, I think cryptozoology gets lumped in with the paranormal and other Fortean accounts from the mainstream because all of these pursuits are “fringe” interests. However, you’ve also got people on the inside of these pursuits trying to tie them altogether as well. I know there have been accounts of Bigfoots supposedly popping out of UFO’s, and a correlation drawn between UFO sightings and Bigfoot sightings in similar areas, but as to the latter, it could just be a commonality because said areas are more remote from civilization. Concerning the former, I’m not sure I buy the sincerity or the accuracy of those claims either. I’m willing to buy into the body of evidence for Bigfoots but I’m not ready to buy into the UFO conspiracy.

I can live with the idea that humanity isn’t always the king of the snow hill and that there are still plenty of things that can outwit us, outsmart us, and run circles around us.

  6. Goodfoot responds:

As for paranormal Bigfoot, you are ignoring a plethora of evidence if you refuse to see there is a paranormal aspect to a certain percentage of encounters. Simply because you refuse to accept it does not change the fact that it exists, and deserves serious consideration. *I* am perplexed by it, as well, but it cannot be ignored simply because you do not want to accept that it is part of the puzzle.
