you know i used to dismiss these stories as “couldnt have really happened” until I had my face to face with something i cant explain away as anything else but what I saw. Good read and who knows what it may have been. one morning in Florida I woke up to a couple of monkeys eating my groceries out of my ice chest while on a camping trip….Odd but this has gotten to be not uncommon in Florida. The description sounds like some sort of Lemur that may have escaped captivity….who knows

This was an episode of Millenium with Lance Hendrekson, little foot turned out to be a mobster living the woods who was resurrected by a couple of magic ladies who livied in a tree stump.

Billrrr thanks for the story of your encounter. I live in Rhode Island and know of this area. Have always wanted to go out into the swamp and just sit and see if I could have a encounter myself. Just never seem to get around to it. Now I have more time on my hands, I might have to spend some time out there.

I have read about a lot of stories coming from there ghost, bigfoot, UFO and a red eye devil dog. I have never heard of this Pot Belly creature before and from what you say it also was trying to communicate with you, and that I find very interesting. I am one of those people that think Bigfoot does have a language of some type.
