The heel looks too narrow and the toe lineup too curved for a sasquatch footprint. My guess is a print from a tall human being with a big smile :)

Apparently Matt Moneymaker tweeted this today:

@MattMoneymaker1: We've identified person who faked the Elbe tracks. He's a skeptic who's building a Patterson BF statue 2 show how "easy" it would be to fake

There are tons of red flags in regard to these tracks and some of the team investigating them were also aware of this. Cliff Barackman has said he saw these red flags too.

In future it would be wise to do all due diligence before making pronouncements. There is a place for secrecy or non-disclosure until all the facts and alternatives have been examined.

My immediate reaction when I saw this was that it was too perfect. All 5 toes perfectly pressed into the mud track would be unusual. Think about when you walk in the dirt or mud barefoot.

Do you often get the entire foot so well preserved?

In the second shot notice how the human shoe print has slid and the mud is built up un the downhill side. Now compare to the Bigfoot track - which looks more like it is pressed into the mud.

Ohyeez.

FANFAREFANFAREFANFAREFANFARE....

guysguysguys, not how this works. As a matter of fact, this has become an Automatic Who-Cares Marker.

Which, when you do it for something legitimate, you will get "who cares."

When will they ever learn...?
