Creationist? As a Creationist, I have to say it doesn't discount Bigfoot or any cryptozoological specimen, nor for some does it discount evolution, give-or-take. I know many creationists who are into cryptozoology and specifically Bigfoot. In fact, one could make an interesting argument against evolution using Bigfoot as an example of a type of primate that is intelligent and did not evolve; it was made that way just as human primates were.

Anyhow, while it's find and dandy to get irrelevant digs in against things you don't like, remember that by excluding people, it doesn't further the cause. As you believe creation is a myth, others believe Bigfoot is a myth. So if you wish cryptozoology to be respected as you state, then respect should be shown to others as well. It's the same hacks attacking both cryptozoology and intelligent design because they don't fit current scientific dogma even though rational arguments could be made for the existence and fact of both.

OK, enough on that. Back to bigfoot. The problem with unproven things (as so-called scientists would prove them) is that anyone can say anything. Those with the most outlandish theories will get the most attention because it sells. I fear that until such a time the existence is proven to "meet a scientific bar" (i.e., I drive home from an elk hunting trip with a bigfoot on my hood) people will get away with saying anything because anything can be said. And the more outlandish, the more cash can be made.

I do agree it's a shame that snake oil salesmen get the attention (and the money) from a gullible public instead of people who dedicated their lives to researching these things in a rational manner.

I like the cup in Dr.Wacko's hand. It all makes sense now. Bigfoot puts on a costume, becomes Jared and shills for Subway. That's why no scat is ever found he uses the restrooms.

If a bigfoot is ever caught and caged it would be a great idea to put our fine Dr. Hallmark in the cage with it 'till he gets it in his narrow mind that this thing is real after all. Maybe right after it pulls off an arm or leg or two. Are all these big educated naysayers going to jump off tall buildings when proven wrong? Just goes to show how wise they really are.

This guy was featured last month in Oklahoma Magazine. HUGE spread on his fingerprint stuff, and it was all tongue in cheek by the author of the article. Hallmark's spread was followed by coverage of the BF Festival in Honobia. Really upset me, that this guy is getting so much press and he is such a schmuck. Why can't the good guys get the same exposure??

You also have to take into account that the park in question, the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, is only 9,889 acres in size, it butts up against the "bustling metropolis" of Sulphur, OK and it is one of the most heavily visited parks for its size in the National Park System, with 3.4 million visitors a year.

Doesn't sound like too likely of a place for 45 Bigfoot to hang out...
