First, they took Ogopogo off the protected list with no public announcement made and then they began to deplete our provincial parks.
Lip service has been paid to the environment and all our outdoor amenities. Just recently Thomas Steenburg, myself and others were at the site of a previous sasquatch sighting in a provincial park close to Hope, BC. In all the time we were there we did not see one ranger. A truly sad state of affairs. All British Columbians should contact their Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and voice their displeasure at the way this government conducts itself in regard to our great outdoors.
By the way . . . The BCGEU – who are trying to save our Rangers- would help thier cause by not referring to our resident bipedal hairy hominid as “Bigfoot”. That is an American phenomenon. In these parts – as the Kokanee Ranger knows – the cryptid is known as SASQUATCH.
