I never understood the “we spent 8 hours in the woods” mentality. Hunting for Bigfoot is hardly a “9 to 5″ job.
Shoot, even when I’m hunting for animals I know I have a better chance of seeing, I get up at 4 AM to be in the woods before sunrise and don’t come out again until I’ve gotten my bag limit or, (more often) the sun has started going down (and then only because of game laws and it being too dark to make out your target).

All this going on right in my backyard more or less and this is the first I hear of it. What about the “secret Appalachian location”? If they’re referring to the Whitehall area perhaps they meant Adirondack location. Either way I’ve gotta stop reading this site late at night just before I have to go walk the dog.

Amen! to the 3 eight hour shifts idea. Bigfoot have been seen at all times of the day, covering the clock would be just as important as covering promising territory. Matt may be able to do something right for a change.
