Baglan Beast : Myth or Alien Big Cat

On Dec. 1st, the North Wales Weekly News reported that the big cat seen in the forests of South Wales and had been tabbed the "Baglan Beast" had been seen by a off-duty police officer out walking his dogs.
Officers, using modern forensic testing, made a cast of a huge paw print left by the beast that contained hair that was submitted for DNA testing.
In the article, an unnamed university "expert" who examined the evidence confirmed that it was a real "big cat" living in the wild on the outskirts of town.
Today, police are backtracking, saying the evidence is inconclusive and that there are no confirmed sightings of the "Baglan Beast". Mighty strange considering one of the "non-confirmed" sightings came from a local police officer.
Police then confirmed the print was that of a big cat, going so far as to advise people not to approach it but to take its picture if possible.
After that the Assembly waded in, insisting there had been no confirmed sightings of a big cat and no evidence to prove its existence.
Even then officers were standing by their assertion that the Beast was for real.
Sounds like the local officials tried to quell the story. Boy, we’ve never heard of that happening with a cryptid report, huh?
There have been reported sightings of these big cats in the UK for a century or more. Somebody is seeing something out there…
