Abominable Snowmen/women/people are known from the Himalayan region of the world, in Asia. Sasquatch/Bigfoot are known from North America.

The subtitle is unfortunate for this film. The depicted unknown hominoid, a WHITE Abominable Snowman, may be more unfortunate.

Yetis, a/k/a Abominable Snowpeople, are NOT WHITE!! Neither are Bigfoot/Sasquatch, which would be what these folks would encounter around Glacier Peak.
