You know, having vacationed many summers, in the beautiful state of Maine, I still wouldn’t want to live in that “Ice-Cube-Snow-Bowl” of harsh-winter’s wonderland, even if I was offered a paltry sum of money. Of course, I certainly understand and sympathize with those Alaskan fishermen who shot the “Caddy” video and got $75K from Discovery Channel. Good for them! That said, some of us commenters who were unjustifiably roasted by certain individuals, quote: “What do you people do for a living that you can scoff at 75K?” Our remarks had nothing at all to do with your self-centered, personal financial situation and nor should any of us be responsible, in some horrible way, for your unfortunate circumstances.

Furthermore, on the subject of possessing a quality video of the existence of the Loch Ness Monster and being paid a fair price for the film, I’d bet you right now that anyone who had such a sensational film and possessed good business sense would be offered well over a $Million dollars. FYI, if Nessie is proven to exist, British bookmaker William Hill faces a payout of over £1 million (over US$1.5). Nessie might be worth over a million to those who gamble on her existence!

Hi folks. New to the comments but have been watching this site for over 4 years now. This particular thread has me ALL worked up. I feel as if this could be a blockbuster announcement and viewing, IF we ever get to see it. With that said, I was able to write Discovery, via the viewer response venue. Didn’t really know which “show” to respond to, so I used “Deadliest Catch”, since it was the first thing mentioned, along with the Hilstrand Brothers, when this whole thing went down. I think we’ll eventually see something, albeit way too edited and just enough vagueness to it that it gets panned by the mediots and skeptics alike.

As for being new here and a bit apprehensive about what will happen, I live in the “neck of the woods” where those two idiots claimed to have a cryptid on ice (hate to even mention the subject) two LONG years ago. Anyway, I followed that thing until the bitter end, hoping against hope and all those other things, only to have the rug pulled out from under me, along with everyone else. Don’t even want to go through that heartache again. I’ve checked this site EVERYDAY for the 4 years now, looking for that one moment to tell someone, “TOLD YOU SO!!! Here’s hoping.

Thanks, Cryptomundo, for having a great venue to peruse and occasionally get a nervous quiver here and thanks to all the folks who have offered fabulous dialogue and honest debate on here. Meanwhile, I’ll keep my fingers crossed the Discovery Channel does the right thing and sets the world straight about this very important evidence.

I feel as if all the other readers would take the time to do this, like I did, then maybe this collective effort will cause the Discovery Channel to get off the pot and answer us. ogopo2011 has indeed spoken to the people that were involved in the shooting of the video. His info is accurate insofar as the name of the son is concerned and the letter the last name starts with.

The estimate of 40 feet long seems a bit long for what Paul Leblond and I saw in the video. I was not there like the witness was, but I have a hard time accepting the 40 foot length. It was more like twenty feet at most, but then again I wasn’t standing on the deck of the ship from which the video was taken.

Like ogopo2011 says there are indeed little animals and larger ones.

I am just so disappointed that it is taking an eon to get this footage to our TV screens. I suggest readers write to Discovery Channel and tell them to show as much of the footage as they have and to show the original enhancements made by the guy who shot the footage. Come on people get typing.

I’d like to see a never before seen 40 foot critter!!! It would be absolutely outstanding if this were all for real!! Probably isn’t but it would be cool if it was.
