Rick,

I looked over the web site of this company. Wow! What a top of a line company and products.
I have had this idea for sometime to have web cameras out in many areas of Texas that we research in. Most of the areas are not anywhere near a phone line. So at this time we use a self-contained unit running off 12 volt’s. I plan in the future to move us into using DVR’s (Digital Video Recorders) along with smaller weatherproof camera’s and solar cells to keep the batteries fully charged.
On another note are you using digital cameras in your research area. If so what brands do you recommend?

This system would be excellent for suveying an area such as the shorelines. One question I have though is that do you think that because of the higher frequency waves that these and other camera traps emit, would it deter the bigfoot from venturing in or near the area? It's a hypothesis that another researcher is working on. He is also trying to make a camera that won't emit these sounds.
