dblondon: there are places like that — and maybe better — over here on the east side.

I went to one in a tiny burg in NH — I want to say Bethlehem, NH…? — in October. The proprietor is a photographer — an excellent one — and he opened the shop as one way to make people comfortable while they’re looking at his work.

It’s called….um…..uuuhhhh…errrrr…man, I could have lived there. And since I didn’t, I may never find it again!

Watch this space. Maybe that’s how the good ones stay good. They don’t get too well known.

Heh…lots of ‘Skookum’ stuff up in BC….not surprised that there is a Skookum (strong) coffee blend in WA.

I stopped in a great little coffee-shop in Port Angeles on my way through. It was so cozy I could’ve snuggled in and made it my home. Nothing like that over here on the east side of the continent.

I can’t wait, I’m moving to Freeland in about 4 months and it loks like a great alternative to Starbucks.
