I am currently working on the full report for the week long expedition. I read the comment in this article about the “video of eyeshine” and called Billy myself, as I had not heard about this. I spoke with Billy and verified: there is no video of “red eyeshine”. When I called Billy, I hoped there was, and I just hadn’t heard about it.. But, sadly that is not the case.

I will disclose this. The report of “red eyeshine” is true. I can say that because I was the person who witnessed it. Instead of simply putting my account into words, I am working with someone who will turn my sighting into a visual representation for everyone to see – should it turn out as I seen it. This has been reported elsewhere, and may be what you heard about.

There is all kinds of technology out there, that can aid us in our work – and my situation is a good example of when to use other forms of technology.

Doing all this wont answer the question of whether this animal is out there, but it is my hope that doing this work will help others who have been witness to this, and maybe bring forward more witnesses who have seen this very same thing.

The research area in question is in the Lake Anna AREA, not at the Lake Anna recreation boating location. The research property in question is over 3000 acres of very thick woods with plenty of water and food sources. Once you left the base camp and the few trails available you literally needed to hack your way through these thick, tick infested woods.

There were over 30 researchers from 5 groups and 10 states involved in that expedition. Once all the investigators notes and evidence have been compiled a proper report will be released from the 5 groups involved. There was also a documentary filmed for future release.

The problem is, the investigation are still ongoing. You do not release information from a investigation that is still in progress. We need to respect the witnesses and property owners involved.
